2022: TWELFTH NIGHT

AUGUST 22 – SEPTEMBER 2, 2022; Performing SEPTEMBER 3, 2022

Welcome to the carnival-city of Illyria, where the nights are sweet and hearts break among the lights. A lovesick leader, a grieving mystic, and a clever newcomer find themselves entangled in the threads of fate, while their rowdy compatriots spy, scheme, and sing their way into endless trouble. We’ll delve into not just the fun hijinks but also the aching themes of loss and longing that underscore this nostalgic comedy. 

After a long intermission we are thrilled to return to Shakespeare in Ten with this year’s production of Twelfth Night! Starting August 22nd, we’ll have just ten weekdays of intensive rehearsals to go from casting to our climactic performance on September 3rd. Rehearsals will run from 4pm-10pm each weeknight from August 22nd to September 2nd (with the understanding that some may need to arrive late or leave early to accommodate their schedules); our single performance will be at 7pm on September 3rd. Our first week of rehearsals will take place at Volunteer Park, while the second week will be in our performance venue at Seattle Center. Feel free to contact us with any questions of logistics.
